The Yukon ok store

I took my wife's Jeep there because it was leaking coolant . they said it was the radiator.700$ I said ok . they called said it was done .so I got there paid them .by the way price went up of what they quoted us.and then I looked under the hood and there was no coolant in the overflow so I went back in there and they said it must have burped so they filled up the overflow and said it was ok .by the time I got home it was empty again so I called Dustin the manger and he refused to fix it unless I paid again .then he hung up on me 3 times

BAD SERVICE

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

My experience started when I called multiple locations to see if they can fix my front passenger wheel bearings. A few locations told me their machine was broke or they were extremely busy. Finally I spoke to the Forest Park location and they informed me they were able to complete the services. I arrived there, they pulled my car in the garage, then told me their machine was broke after a 20 minute drive to them and a 20 minute wait.

I then drove 35 minutes to the Norcross location and they fixed the car. I paid $195 in labor fees. As soon as I got on the highway, my bearings were louder than before they repaired them. Before, my bearings only made noise when I turned right, now it was also making noise when I drive straight.

I drove 30 minutes to go back the next morning. The employee that installed the bearings test drove the car with me so they could see how it was performing. They then proceeded to tell me it was because the part was defective. They said they would have to take the part off, then I take it back to Autozone to get it switched, then I would have to pay another $195 for labor. I had to fly out of town that day, so I told them would come back the day I get back in town.

I returned to Precision Tune, Wednesday, June 30th. They removed the part and I took a roundtrip Lyft to take it to Autozone. Autozone stated to me that the part wasn't taken off correctly, it was stilled compressed. They gave me a pliers. I attempted to take it apart. I even took it outside and banged on the concrete. After 5 minutes of trying I realized I was going to have to go back to Precision Tune. When arriving I was upset and asked for the manager. I attempted to ask for some type of discount because this was getting ridiculous. I believed them when they told me the part was defective, but now I'm thinking if they couldn't uninstall it correctly, maybe they didn't install it correctly.

With condescending comments the Manager told me it's easy to take apart, I should of been able to do it myself. Laughing! *** attitude! Walks off and says this is easy to do. I let him know I'm not a mechanic, I'm paying for service. When he comes back he laughs and says, look that only took 1 minute. Look how fast I did that. I'm furious at this point and he ask me "Why are you fussing? What do you want? "You want a discount, fine I'll give you a discount when you check out! That's easy, no need to yell in front of customers." I let them know I had to spend over $70 on Lyft because of the incompetence of their employee not taking the part off and apart properly.

I proceeded to take another Lyft to Autozone. When I arrived back I was attempting to give the front desk attendent, Anita, my part. She had the audacity to tell me to take the part in the garage to the employees. A garage that has cars in the air, fire being used, equipment everywhere. WHAT KIND OF CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THIS? I told her that's major safety issue. I'm not going in that garage. I was furious, reiterating to her I'd been dealing with this for hours and just spent over $70 on Lyft. I am paying for service. She ask the employee in the office behind her to come take the part. He answered "yeah." Then for the next 10 secs I watched him still sitting at the desk with his feet up on the desk, scrolling through his cell phone. I finally screamed "Is he coming to get the part or is he going to continue to sit at the desk with his feet up on his cell phone?"

Once the car was completed, I asked about the discount and Anita said, "I don't know anything about a discount, he didn't tell me and he has already left. I can give you $10 off!" I pay $184 and when I get to the highway the new wheel bearings are even louder than the older ones. Neither times after they installed the bearings did they test drive the car to make sure the part was correctly installed.

I continue to call the corporate office and leave messages. They finally got tired of me calling and Darryl tells me they can't force the district manager to reach out to me, it's their choice. They also said they reached out the franchise owner and he said he doesn't plan to do anything about it.

Precision Tune - Refund
Precision Tune - Refund - Image 2
I brought my Nissan Maxima to 714 Veterans Plwy Jonesboro, GA 30238. To get a diagnostic test performed for an emissions test. I was told that the cadillac converter was needing to be replaced and it would cost 1,005 dollars and I needed to put a deposit down since it would be the 27th of May when it will be fixed if the part made it to the shop in time. I paid 250 dollars I brought my vehicle to the shop on the 28th of May I was informed the following day or so that my vehicle will not be able to be repaired due to a bolt that could not be removed. I came back to this location and paid for the diagnostic test and was told that the deposit that I paid on the 26th of May would be redeposited back into my account. Last week I called the shop and was informed that a refund was sent and to check with my bank. I was told by my bank a few days later that was not the case. Now I am out of 250 dollars and I want my money back because a diagnostic test was the only thing that was done on my vehicle.

Car service

My car was having some sort of leak and I took to this shop for repair. I paid almost $900 to get it fixed. Two days after it was fixed, my car started leaking again (the same spot). I took it back and complained about it, but they made me pay over $600 again. In general, I paid over $1500 within less than a month for the same issue. They failed to fix my car the first time. I was untreated unfairly. I never ever recommend this shop to anyone.

RIP OFF

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
ON 06/03/20, I TOOK MY 01 MERCURY MARQUIE TO PRECISION TUNE FOR A COOLANT FLUSH AND THERMOSTAT REPLACEMENT. THE PRICE QUOTED ON THE WALL STATED THE CHARGE FOR THE FLUSH WAS $69.99. I CHECKED THE PRICE AT THE AUTO SUPPLY STORE AND THE COST FOR THE THERMOSTAT AND THE GASKET WAS ABOUT $40.00. WHICH WOULD BE ABOUT $110.OO. WHEN I WENT TO PAY MY BILL THEY HAD CHARGED ME $235.98. THIS IS A RIP OFF. I USED THE PRECISION TUNE AUTO CARE, 909 GRAY HIGH WAY, MACON, GA 31211. THEY ARE A BUNCH OF CROOKS.ALSO THE COOLANT STILL APPEARS TO BE DIRTY AND I DO NOT EVEN TRUST THEM TO HAVE REPLACED THE THERMOSTAT. I AM REQUESTING A REFUND OF THE TOTAL CHARGE OF $235. 98.

Dishonesty and Incompetent

Updated by user Mar 07, 2020

My total out of pocket expense is 76.00. $50 for not doing anything and because it took them 2 days I lost my ride and had to take an Uber to work and the Fitzgeral auto..Not a lot of $ to some but it's a week of groceries for me. And I still had to start over and pay another deductible to a business who did fix it.

Original review Mar 07, 2020
Took my car to presion tune of annapolis md because my extended warranty said they were an approved shop. I called them 1st thing in the AM and the car was there by 9am. two days (probably because all the walkin traffic got 1st preference) William and Robbie at Precision Tune said they could not fix it only a dealer could. THEY CHARGED ME $50 for that. Is this a racket where they say they qualify but don't hire the people who are educated enough to fix it? It was the blower on the heater and a/c that needed to be replaced. Did not sound that complicated... DO NOT EVER PATRONIZE PRESION TUNE unless you are family or a white man and then they will push you ahead of everyone else. The guy that praised them for "fitting" him in was because he walked in and got the immediate attention so it took them 2 days to tell me they could not fix it. I was without a car for all of their ignorance. I'm extremely upset with your business practices
