On Thursday, September 14, 2017 .. I went to the precision tune in Wilson, NC for a routine oil change, tire rotation, and tire pressure check.

I live 45 minutes away now but I chose that particular location because I liked their previous work, the guys were nice and quick. I usually don't spend more than an hour there but this time I arrived at 10:45am and didn't leave until 1pm and all I needed was an oil change. I knew something was wrong when I saw them taking my tires off the rim. At approximately 12:15, the manager, "James" came out and said my tire pressure sensors were broken and they could fix and "it'll only be 30 minutes Ms.

Mercer, 15 minutes for one tire & 15 for the other". I was pressed for time but I trusted them, so I jokingly said "okay, just do what you have to do so my tire pressure light goes off and my tires don't go flat on me" .. James said "yes ma'am" and proceeded to charge me the extra 56.00 for the "so called" solution (the TPMS schrader kit, Mount & balance tire service), along with the 21.90 for the oil change. I pay Mr.

James, drive a couple of miles down Raleigh road, take the exit and get on interstate 95 to go back home. As soon as I take exit 138 and get onto highway 64 and I get really scared because my car begins to shake & swerve and I smelled something burnt. I immediately called my mom, who after being on the phone with me for only a few seconds, heard the lout noise my car was making. She said, "take the next exit and get off the highway".

I took the exit for Rocky Mount,NC and coasted to the nearby IHOP right off of the exit. When I got there I took pictures of my flat tire with *** the size of dime in it (like something pierced it from the side). By that time, it was 1:35 and I had to be at work at 3:30. I had to leave my car for the tow truck that didn't come until 3:15.

My car was then taken the Rocky Mount Precision tune who did a very good job. The manager, a woman but I don't remember her name, paid the towing fee, fixed my rim, and gave me a new tire (fee of charge). She apologized and said that they (the Wilson location) only put my tires up there and fixed it enough so that I would have to come back and I think that is despicable because I couldn't be seriously hurt. I went to the Wilson location the next day, showed James my picture and aakws for me money back.

He acted completely uninterested and only gave me the money back for the one tire that blew out but evidently their solution didn't do anything because my tire pressure light is still on, which means my sensor is still broken. Not only did I leave their with the same problem I went in with but a whole new one. I'm grateful to the manager at the Rocky location but I will never take my car back to Wilson again. It's not about the money, it's about the fact that they lied.

They knew my care wasn't fixed when I left, but because I was pressed for time and was getting a little irritated, they rushed through the job and put my life in danger and that's not okay.

My mom & I have both taken our cars there for years because they were fast, friendly, and they got it right.. but this time, I was extremely disappointed and I will never trust them with my car again.

Reason of review: Bad quality.

Location: 2915 Raleigh Rd Pkwy W, Wilson, NC 27896, USA
